Imeelezwa kuwa, miradi yote inayopatiwa fedha na Serikali iliyopo Wizara ya Nishati itakamilika kwa wakati ili Sekta hiyo iwe na mchango mkubwa katika Pato la Taifa.
Hayo yamebainishwa Novemba 5, 2023 na Naibu Waziri Mkuu na Waziri wa Nishati, Mhe. Dkt. Doto Biteko wakati akichangia katika Semina kwa kamati za Bunge za Nishati na Madini, Kamati ya Hesabu za Serikali (PAC), Kamati ya Uwekezaji wa Mitaji ya Umma (PIC) na Kamati ya Bajeti jijini Dodoma.
“Sisi wizarani tutafanya kila linalowezekana kuhakikisha miradi yote ambayo fedha imetolewa na Serikali inakamilika kwa wakati,” amesema Dkt. Biteko.

Aidha, Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Nishati, Mhandisi Felchesmi Mramba amezihakikishia kamati hizo kuwa changamoto za upungufu wa umeme nchini utatatuliwa ndani ya miezi sita kwa kuwa Wizara imeweka mikakati madhubuti ya kukamilisha miradi mbalimbali ya umeme inayoendelea ukiwemo mradi wa JNHPP.
Naye, Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya Kudumu ya Bunge ya Nishati na Madini, Mhe. David Mathayo ameitaka Wizara ya Nishati kuhakikisha miundombinu ya usafirishaji wa Umeme na Gesi inapewa kipaumbele nchini. Aidha, ameitaka TANESCO kuhakikisha changamoto ya ukosefu wa umeme inashughulikiwa kwa haraka ili Watanzania wapate umeme wa uhakika.
Vile vile, Makamu Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya PAC, Mhe. Japhet Hasunga ameitaka Wizara kuhakikisha inatoa fedha kwenye miradi inayoendelea ili ikamilike kwa wakati.
Pia, Makamu Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya Kudumu ya Bunge ya Bajeti, Mhe. Omary Kigua ameitaka Wizara ya Nishati kuhusisha Sekta Binafsi ili kwa pamoja washirikiane katika utekelezaji wa maeneo mbalimbali ya miradi.
Kwa upande wake, Mwenyekiti wa PIC, Mhe. Deuc Sangu ameitaka Serikali kuweka mikakati katika utekelezaji wa miradi ya LNG na CNG kupewa kipaumbele katika vyuo mbalimbali ikiwemo Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam, DIT ili elimu ya nishati hiyo na matumizi yake itambulike
Kamati hizo zimepata semina kuhusu hali ya upatikanaji wa umeme nchini na mikakati ya kuondokana na upungufu wa umeme iliyowasilishwa na Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa TANESCO, Mhandisi Gissima Nyamo-Hanga, taarifa ya utekelezaji wa miradi ya CNG na maendeleo ya Mradi wa Kuchakata na Kusindika Gesi Asilia.
