Taasisi ya World Travel Awards imetangaza hifadhi mbili za Tanzania kuwa washindi katika vipengele vya Hifadhi na kivutio bora cha utalii barani Afrika kwa mwaka 2024 ambapo ni hifadhi ya Taifa Serengeti ambayo imetangazwa kuwa mshindi katika kipengele cha Hifadhi Bora Barani Afrika (“Africa’s Leading National Park 2024”) wakati Mlima Kilimanjaro ikitangazwa kuwa Kivutio bora cha Utalii Barani Afrika (African Leading Tourist Attraction 2024)
Tuzo hizo zimetolewa usiku wa tarehe 18 Oktoba, 2024 katika Ukumbi wa Hotel ya Diamonds Leisure Beach Golf Resort ya nchini Kenya.
Ikumbukwe Filamu ya “The Royal Tour ambayo Mhe. Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan Rais wa Jamuhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ameshiriki akiwa mshiriki/mwongozaji mkuu imekua na mafanikio makubwa sana katika kutangaza vivutio vya utalii na urithi wa sanaa na utamaduni wa nchi yetu,
kwani kupitia filamu hiyo kumekua na ongezeko kubwa la idadi ya watalii nchini ikilinganishwa na kipindi kabla ya kuzinduliwa kwa filamu hiyo.
